If you’ve ever suffered from sudden and frequent, unrelenting foot cramps, inflamed bunions, planter fasciitis, or just years of stuffing your feet into shoes weakening them, you know what it’s like to have foot pain – it affects everything else. Our feet have a big job and it’s important that we take care of them.
Soothe your tired feet! In this workshop, you will learn how to strengthen your feet, ease foot pain, and improve overall foot health! We will be practicing postures that focus on building a strong foundation, learning techniques to ease cramping and foot pain, discuss and learn structure in anatomy of the foot, learning and understanding of basic foot and ankle movements, and learning how to better take care of our feet on and off the mat.
When you treat foot problems with Yoga, you end up treating back pain, hip pain, neck pain, and all kinds of structural problems.
In addition to your yoga mat, water, and any yoga props you have, please bring a tennis ball and a journal or notebook to write in. A foundational knowledge and experience in yoga is helpful but not necessary. Open to all.
